Art Deco is a distinctive architectural style that is associated with glamor and luxury. The movement originates from the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. Then, the movement spread to New York, where massive skyscrapers were built and presented themselves in some of the most iconic buildings in the city. Julie Hugau & Andrea Larsson have been inspired by these variations in the buildings and the wild skyline of New York. The Queens candle holder is the result of the 2 designers’ interpretation.
