Gareth Devonald Smith has produced his 6th design for Porta Romana and it is another tour de force. Carefully made with individually cut pieces of brass, invisibly joined and welded and then subtly patinated, this is a true example of the Craftsman’s art. Each lamp contains hours of careful and highly skilled artistry and at least 4kg of solid brass.
